"Red Moonshine" Peter Hanlon of P.J. Cranberries Teams Up With Onyx Moonshine

Loyal CPS customer, Peter Hanlon, of P.J. Cranberries has teamed up with Onyx Spirits Co. from Connecticut to develop Cape Cod Cranberry Moonshine. We are very happy for Peter here at CPS and even more happy with our bottle of moonshine. We have all tried it here (at home, not on the job!!) and we highly recommend it. Check out the article in the link below! Congratulations to Peter!

Cranberries / Read the AARP article in the February/March Issue, 2014

Read the article in AARP the Magazine, titled " Eat Red for Heart Health ". The article talks about three foods that when eaten on a daily basis can reduce your risk of Heart Disease by as much as 40%. We as Cranberry Growers are all aware of these things, lets get out there and see that these ideas are constantly on other peoples minds. The three foods mentioned are, Tomatoes which supply Licopene, an antioxidant compound that gives foods their color. Apples also contain antioxidants, and an Apple a day can be very helpful in reducing bad Cholesteral (LDL) by as much as 40%. Finally Cranberries or Cranberry Juice can increase good Cholesteral by as much as 10%, and reduce Heart Disease by up to 40%. Please read the article for verification of these comments, and also to learn about the people and Institutions responsible for these findings.

Brief Update, New Building and Location

Hi folks, Just a brief update on how our new location is progressing. We own our new property, it was purchased during the month of October, 2013. SWe have been working with our engineers, and the Town of Carver's Planning Board along with Town Planner, Jack Hunter. It's been a fairly long drawn out procedure. Our plans were finally approved last Tuesday night, February 18th. We now have to wait 21 days for any appeals to be brought forth. We do not expect anything to stand in our way at this point. Next would come actually applying for a building permit. We also expect that process to go smoothly. As soon as a Building Permit is issued, we can then order the building parts to be manufactured and delivered to the site. Because of the several delays we've run into, and also the quite intense winter we do not expect to be able to get going as early as we had hoped. So it looks as though we will spend one more summer here at our old location, and hopefully be able to move to our new facility sometime in the early fall of this year. Just so you'll all know, if you don't already the address of the new location will b; #1 Marion Drive, off Plymouth Street in North Carver, 1/4 mile east of the Middleboro Town Line. It is located approximately 3 miles west of our present location. We feel you will all find it very easy to find when the time comes. Thank You for your interest, Mike Utley

New Building News

Just a quick note on our plans for a new Office and Warehouse building, which will be located in     North Carver, Ma. The location will be off Plymouth Street, just east of the Middleboro line. The address will be # 1 Marion Drive, North Carver Mass. 02355.
Our expectations of being able to move in prior to the beginning of the 2014, will most definitely not
be a reality. However, if at all possible we will make a valiant effort to get moved in before the busy season
is upon us. If not, we've made it through 35 years here at # 3 Plymouth Street, East Carver, so I'm sure we can sneak through one more year if we have to.
Do not fear, we will be here somewhere, ready, able, and willing to serve you as we have in the past. And, oh by the way, the new address is only approximately 2.5 miles west of where we are today.

Some things to check out !

Before the end of 2013 becomes just a distant memory, I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and an extremely Happy New Year. I know 2013 was a tough one for many of you, and I find it hard to believe 2014 will be much better. All we can do is hope for the best, and we here at Crop Production Services, will be here to do the best we are able to for each and everyone of you !
In the next few days, to no more than a week and certainly before Christmas many of you will be receiving a brief letter, of which I will include a copy in this post shortly. The letter is intended to make you aware of several good options for you to take advantage of. These options are from earning good interest on any PrePay balances on your account when you keep a positive balance of $ 2500.00 or more. Crop Production Services will pay 1/2% per month, or 6% per annum, on this balance. I'm sure there are no
banks in this area that will offer that kind of interest. There are several other options which should make it
easier for you to do buisness with us.
Look back in a few day's, and we will have the letter posted for you all to see. Please don't hesitate to contact us to begin the process, if you see something that might suit your needs.
